A $2,500 grant from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation will help fund the Framingham Police Department’s National Night Out on August 4 from 4pm to 7pm.
National Night Out is a community-police awareness event held annually across the country since 1984. Locally, it brings Framingham families and seniors together with Framingham police and fire personnel for an evening of free barbecue served by the Framingham Housing Authority staff, music, tours of fire engines and squad cars, ice cream, and more.
