A $10,000 grant from the MutualOne Charitable Foundation will help students at Saint Bridget School in Framingham meet “High TechSpectations,” according to an announcement today by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a Foundation trustee.
The funds will be devoted to upgrading and replacing old, aging, and outdated technology in order to provide students with the tools needed to advance in their educational and career paths. The Foundation award will support the acquisition of new computers, Chromebooks, and SMARTboard projectors, according to the “High TechSpectations” capital improvement program needs identified by Saint Bridget School Advancement Director Jennifer Ryan.
“The school stresses the importance of developing in its students the skills necessary for their future in an information economy, and we are pleased to help provide the technology tools to make that happen,” said Haranas.
