With its recent $5,000 donation to United Way of Tri-County (UWTC), the MutualOne Charitable Foundation was able to provide full holiday meals to 100 local families. The grant was announced by Robert P. Lamprey, chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation,

According to Paul Mina, president and CEO of UWTC, the goal for this year’s Feed a Family for $50 campaign in Framingham was to provide 1,600 holiday meals to families in addition to their regular monthly groceries.

“Addressing food security ensures all individuals are better able to achieve their full potential to thrive,” Mina said.

“It is heartwarming to know that, with help from throughout the community, families who struggle every day to make ends meet are able to sit down to the traditional holiday meal enjoyed each year by so many of their neighbors,” said Lamprey.
