MutualOne Bank’s Charitable Foundation Awards $5,000 to Rotary Club of Framingham

The MutualOne Charitable Foundation has awarded $5,000 to the Rotary Club of Framingham to support the Rotary’s Education Fund. Announcement of the grant was made today by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a Foundation trustee.

Each year, the Rotary Club awards scholarships of $3,000 to $4,500 each. According to Rotary Club Co-President Tom Sturiale, the $5,000 Foundation award put their fundraising over their goal – qualifying the Club for a matching gift of $25,000.

“We are pleased to support the Rotary Club of Framingham’s efforts to assist local students with the cost of post-secondary school education,” said Haranas.
