Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a Charitable Foundation trustee, has announced a $5,000 grant to support Natick Historical Society’s “On This Land” program.

According to Niki Lefebvre, Natick Historical Society director, “On this land: Algonquian and English People in Early Natick” will highlight diversity and create meaningful engagement with the past to help young people feel, no matter their background, they belong in our local communities.

“We are pleased to support the Natick Historical Society’s mission to conserve, interpret, and share historic elements of our past,” said Haranas. “This new program will be presented to all third-grade students in Natick public schools at no cost to the town.”
