Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and a MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee, announced today that the foundation has awarded $10,000 to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (MABVI), a division of MAB Community Services, to support their assistive technology training center located at the Natick Community-Senior Center.
According to MABVI Executive Director Sassy Outwater Wright, the center is in its second year of operation providing seniors with vision loss with access to technology and training that can transform their lives and empower them to remain engaged in their communities.
“It is very gratifying to be able to support the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in their efforts to help local residents experiencing vision loss,” said Haranas.
