Steven M. Sousa, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MutualOne Bank and a MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee has announced a $3,000 grant to the Summit Montessori School of Framingham to fund the school’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.

According to Head of School Martha Torrance, this project has been identified as being critical to the school’s mission to develop respectful learners.

“The program’s goal is to help raise children to become citizens who are empathetic, social justice minded, and aware of themselves and their right relations with others,” said Sousa. “This is a goal we can all get behind.”
