Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has announced a $10,000 grant to the Framingham Corps of the Salvation Army to enhance that groups social service programs.
According to Major Wendy Kountz, corps officer of the Framingham Corps, the funds will be used to support their food pantry; provide for the needs of new mothers; and for transportation assistance to veterans, seniors, and low-income individuals.
“The Salvation Army’s goal is to ensure that everyone, despite their background and circumstance, is well-fed, sheltered, and clothed, while working with them to find long-term solutions that transforms their lives for the better,” said Haranas. “We are pleased to offer our support to this endeavor.”
