Steven M. Sousa, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MutualOne Bank and a MutualOne Charitable Foundation trustee, has announced a $10,000 Foundation grant to Daniel’s Table in Framingham.

Daniel’s Table was founded to improve food security. Farm to Bag is one of the programs they run, working closely with local farms to access fresh produce every growing season. According to Co-Founder David Blais, the grant will allow them to purchase produce over this coming winter and early spring.

“Food insecurity is a serious problem affecting low-income members of our community,” said Sousa. “We are pleased to offer support to a group that has proven they can provide assistance.”
