Mark Haranas, MutualOne Bank CEO and MutualOne Charitable Foundation chairman, announced a $10,000 grant to Hoops and Homework.
Hoops and Homework provides after-school and summer educational programs and recreational activities to eligible students ages 5 to 15 at two Framingham low-income housing developments. According to Hoops and Homework President Herb Chasan, the funds will be used to assist families who qualify to attend at no cost.
“Hoops and Homework is the only licensed, neighborhood based after-school program in Framingham,” said Haranas. “They provide a valuable service, and we are pleased to continue to support their efforts.”
