Mark Haranas, chief executive officer of MutualOne Bank, has announced the promotion of Cheryl Suarez to assistant vice president, deposit operations manager.

Suarez joined the Bank’s team in 2012 and most recently held the position of deposit operations manager. In her new role, responsibilities include monitoring and executing the department’s daily tasks and creating a strong workforce by developing and supporting the Bank’s operations team.

Additionally, Suarez will be providing support and assistance to branch operational activities and functions assigned to the Bank’s operations department. She is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and National Check Professional (NCP).
