Mark Haranas, Chief Executive Officer of MutualOne Bank, has announced the promotion of three employees – Dominique Morrissey, Pia Cordes, and Melissa Roberts.
Dominique Morrissey has been promoted to Senior Fraud and Operations Specialist. A part of the MutualOne Bank team since 2014, Morrissey most recently served as the Core Banking Manager. In her new role she will be responsible for quality control functions, such as identifying and resolving fraud activity and responding to internal inquiries.
Pia Cordes has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Core Banking Manager. Cordes joined the Bank in 2018 serving as a Personal Banker I. More recently, she served as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager before her promotion. Her new responsibilities include maintaining communication with and coordinating all updates, enhancements, training, and monthly meetings between the Bank’s core provider and the Bank’s departments. As a member of the Project Management team, she is also in charge of project documentation and tracking. Cordes is also a graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies.
Melissa Roberts has been promoted to Senior Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance Analyst. Hired in 2011, she has held many positions within the Bank, most recently serving as a Risk Analyst II. In her new role, Roberts will perform reviews and monitoring in compliance with the BSA/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program. She also will serve as a backup to the Bank’s BSA and Compliance Officer.
