The MutualOne Charitable Foundation has awarded $10,000 to increase and enhance community assistance programs provided by the Framingham Corps of the Salvation Army.
According to Robert P. Lamprey, Foundation chairman, the recent award supplements a past MutualOne grant that helped the Salvation Army establish new programs for Framingham-area families and individuals. The services include a Diaper Bank, State ID and Transportation Assistance, and a Back-to-School program.
“The grant is our way of reaching out to those in our community who need help meeting critical everyday needs,’ said Lamprey. “We believe in doing what we can to help build a stronger community by supporting programs that meet the immediate needs of those around us.”
