MutualOne Bank’s Checking for Charity campaign earns $4,200 for Natick Historical Society
Steven M. Sousa, executive vice president and chief operating officer of MutualOne Bank, announced today that the Bank has awarded $4,200 to benefit the Natick Historical Society. The award was made at the conclusion of the Bank’s most recent Checking for Charity initiative, which promised a $10 donation to be shared equally by the Natick Historical Society and the Framingham History Center for every new personal or business checking account opened during the promotion.
“I would like to extend my warmest thanks to MutualOne Bank for their support of our operations this year,” stated Executive Director Aaron M. Dougherty. “This donation helps us to welcome Natick 3rd Grade classrooms for their annual field trip to our museum, organize public programming that explores our past and present, and assist guests in researching their community, homes, and family. MutualOne’s Checking for Charity campaign will enable us to continue carrying out our mission in 2017, making sure that Natick residents are reminded of what a special place Natick really is.”

MutualOne Bank participates in Framingham High School Reality Fair
We were proud to participate in the most recent Reality Fair at Framingham High School. Designed to give students a glimpse at what’s to come, participants pretending they were 25 years old tackled real life scenarios – work, car, housing, bills – as well as unexpected events.
As volunteers, members of our team worked with the students, reviewing activity tracking sheets and helping them understand how to ensure their expenses didn’t exceed the income.
