We were lucky to finish 2018 with two outstanding employees of the month! Last, but certainly not least, is Chima Eugene, senior personal banker and Michelle Rivers, payroll & benefits administrator.

Chima has demonstrated excellent leadership by training new hires and by being a true team player. Not only is she dependable, but she brings enthusiasm to the role by sending motivational emails to the team.

Michelle took on additional work in her department and did a great job. She prepared for this year’s open enrollment, new hire orientation and training, among many other things. She is a great asset to the Bank and an important contributor to the overall success of the department.

Clarice D. Santos of Framingham, MA has been promoted to vice president of client services and electronic banking at MutualOne Bank according to an announcement by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO.

Santos oversees the Bank’s online banking system to ensure its day-to-day performance, as well as the implementation of new platforms, upgrades, and enhancements. She also manages all aspects of the Bank’s customer call center.

Santos joined MutualOne Bank in 2008 and most recently served as assistant vice president of client services and electronic banking. She is a graduate of Framingham High School and Framingham State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Jean Hoskins, manager of the MutualOne Bank Lincoln Street, Framingham office has been promoted to branch manager II according to an announcement by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank.

Hoskins joined MutualOne Bank in January 2016 as a senior personal banker and has served as manager at the Lincoln Street office since July 2016.

A Framingham resident, Hoskins serves on the board of SPARK Kindness, is a volunteer with the Pearl Street Café, and a deacon at the Greater Framingham Community Church (GFCC). She also works with GFCC youth, and is involved with mission and outreach work supporting various initiatives in both the MetroWest and international communities.

She is a graduate of South Panola High School in Batesville, MS, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Management from Jackson State University.

George Gilroy of Northborough, MA has been promoted to first vice president of information technology at MutualOne Bank according to an announcement by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO.

Gilroy provides support for new products, ensures system integrity and recommends program changes to more efficiently and effectively support services offered by the Bank.

Gilroy joined MutualOne Bank in 2012 and most recently served as vice president of information technology. He has previous experience with John Hancock Financial Services, MODIS IT, and IBM. He is a Certified Bank Cybersecurity Manager and a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.

Gregory Kennedy of Goffstown, NH has been promoted to senior vice president of retail banking at MutualOne Bank according to an announcement by Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO.

Kennedy has overall responsibility for the Bank’s retail and electronic banking network, including the implementation of strategies and establishment of goals to achieve growth, profit, and operational efficiency.

Kennedy joined the Bank in January 2016 and most recently served as first vice president of retail banking. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Le Moyne College and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.

We’re excited to acknowledge two exceptional members of our team for this month’s Employees of the Month. Congratulations to Personal Banker Jannette Rivera and IT Support Specialist William Aquilio.

Jannette has a positive attitude that radiates through her interactions with both her customers and her peers. She always puts the customer’s needs first and makes sure they are informed of any products or services that they would benefit from. In addition to exceptional customer interactions, she also exhibits creativity that helps to add a positive energy to her team.

William took the initiative to expand his knowledge by taking a Forensic Investigator class in order to skillfully diagnose suspicious emails in the system. His knowledge allows him to not only identify potential threats, but to analyze them in order to protect employees and customers.
