Join us in recognizing our latest employees of the month, Senior Account Representative II Kimberly Larsen and Senior Accountant Victoria Harcovitz.

Kimberly constantly radiates a positive attitude and has actively supported her team during recent changes.  

Victoria’s friendliness and strong communication skills have not gone unnoticed, as she is always eager to lend a helping hand to her coworkers. Over the past few months, she has also partaken in cross-training within her department.

Mark Haranas, chief executive officer of MutualOne Bank, has announced the promotion of Brian Ledwith to executive vice president and chief lending officer.

Ledwith joined the Bank in 2007 and, before his promotion, served as the head of commercial lending. In his new role, he will continue his current responsibilities while overseeing all of the Bank’s lending functions, including the residential lending and loan servicing departments.

A graduate of Boston College, Ledwith holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, and is also a graduate of the National School of Banking. Throughout his career, he has built up over 32 years of commercial and residential lending experience.

Mark Haranas, chief executive officer of MutualOne Bank has announced the hiring of Jen Murgia of Attleboro, Massachusetts as accounting manager.

In her new role, Jen will assist the controller with the preparation and reporting of financial statements as well as oversee various accounting functions at the Bank. Before joining MutualOne Bank, Jen worked as a senior accountant and auditor at G.T. Reilly and Company. She earned both a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science (MS) in accounting from Bridgewater State University.

“Jen’s background and experience are sure to contribute to MutualOne Bank’s growth and success,” said Haranas.

Kelli is a hard-working and sociable team player who has grown her customer engagement skills. With an eagerness to learn, she has done a great job stepping in to assist her team no matter the task and has built trusting relationships with longtime customers.   

Astrid’s keen eye for detail and ability to take on challenges does not go unnoticed. Recently she discovered an issue during the Teller Capture Settlement and took on an out-of-the-ordinary procedure to resolve the situation. She owned the process from start to finish and came out with a successful outcome.

We are excited to announce our first employees of the month for 2022, senior personal banker Julia Arroyo and IT support specialist Helena Fonseca.

Julia has gone above and beyond while leading her branch team in her manager’s absence. She consistently encourages the team, assists in opening new accounts, and also assists Spanish-speaking customers both on the phone and in person.

Helena has been an instrumental member of the Bank’s maturing Patch program. With her keen eye for details, she identified an issue with a server and engaged with our financial technology company to troubleshoot and address the issue.

Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank, has announced the promotion of three employees.

Rahnuma Habib of Hopkinton, MA has been promoted to senior vice president, human resources. Habib joined the Bank in 1998 and most recently served as vice president of human resources. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the human resource strategies and functions of the institution. Habib will also recommend and implement new policies across the entire institution. She holds a master’s degree in management and human resources from University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.

Carol Somers of Rosindale, MA has been promoted to loan servicing manager. Carol joined the Bank in 2016 and has been serving as a loan servicing supervisor. Her new responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the loan servicing department. She is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies and before joining MutualOne Bank, worked at Commonwealth Cooperative Bank.

Yves Munyankindi of Framingham, MA has been promoted to retail support manager. Munyankindi joined the Bank in 2015, serving as the Bank’s retail support/foundation administrator. In his new role, he will focus on supporting a cross-selling culture within retail and oversee the Bank’s referral program. Munyankindi will also meet with community organizations in Framingham and Natick to ensure the Bank supports them through its charitable foundation and donation sponsorships. He holds a finance degree from the University of Rwanda and is also a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.
