Mobile Wallets & Digital Cards

With a mobile (or digital) wallet such as ApplePay®, Google Pay™, or Samsung Pay, you can securely store a digital version of your MutualOne Bank debit card on your smartphone.

Adding your card to the app on your device only takes a few minutes, and once added, allows you to pay for purchases wherever you see the contactless payment symbol, simply by holding your device near the terminal.

Using a digital card provides extra protection for your finances by encrypting each transaction, while also protecting your health by allowing you to avoid touching your card, or typing in your PIN. For even more convenience, you may also be able to use your digital card to pay for purchases online, or for in-app purchases.

Not necessarily. The digital card image may not be an exact match. Keep in mind this doesn't affect how your card works.
You can still use your physical debit card if digital cards are not accepted. Most merchants will display the contactless payment symbol if they accept digital cards.
Through Online Banking you can deactivate or activate your physical card, which will also deactivate or activate your digital card. To enable or disable your digital card, as well as view the last four digits of your card, you have to access the mobile wallet under the specific mobile device being used. If you wish to remove your digital card from your mobile wallet, access the digital card in your mobile wallet and follow the instructions to remove the card.
If you make a purchase with your digital card, you will find the transaction in the Account Activity section in Online Banking, just as you would for a purchase using your physical card. The transaction will appear on your statement in the same manner other debit card transactions area noted.
Depending on the merchant's policy, you may need to use the contactless reader. You should expect that returning an item purchased with your mobile device is just like any other return and you should be prepared to present your receipt.
Recent purchases made using your digital card can be seen in your mobile wallet. For a complete view of all your MutualOne Bank debit card transactions, sign in to Online Banking or use our Mobile Banking app.
Removing the digital card from your device will have no effect on your physical card, so you can continue to use your card as you normally would. You can add your debit card back into your Mobile Wallet at any time.
If you can’t locate your mobile device, you can call Client Services at (508) 820-4000 and we will remove the digital card from your device. You can also Deactivate/Reactivate My Card under Card Control in Online Banking and deactivate your physical card. This will also deactivate your digital card. Then call (800) 264-5578, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to report the incident. You should also review your account transaction history in Online or Mobile Banking. If you notice any suspicious activity, please contact us at (508) 820-4000.
